An incredible collaboration has come true; a real-world top fashion brand “A DEGREE FAHRENHEIT” working with a virtual VOCALOID™3 diva “Aoki Lapis”.
This is an unprecedented challenge with a concept of seeing how the new world would be created when Aoki Lapis, a virtual character, becomes realized as a real top fashion icon and aiming to building a new business with top fashion brand “A DEGREE FAHRENHEIT”
What is Lapis “28.4°F” Project?
A virtual character “Aoki Lapis” made a collaboration with 「212 Inc. (CEO: Yu Amatsu)」,which holds a worldwide top brand 「A DEGREE FAHRENHEIT」, and the collaboration project “A DEGREE FAHRENHEIT × Aoki Lapis” was launched in September 2013 at Tokyo Game Show 2013 at Makuhari Messe.
The collaboration project was named “Lapis “28.4°F” Project”, and the kick-off was officially announced in Yu Amatsu × Collaboration Exhibition in October 2013.
We would like to develop collaborations between 「212 Inc.」and 「kraftDEEN」as well as 「Lapis “28.4°F” Project」and take on a challenge for new creations emerged by the fusion of virtual and real. We look forward to your continued cooperation.

About
The transforming image of water to ice at 28.4°degrees Fahrenheit (-2°Celsius).
Aoki Lapis is 15cm-tall fairy, who was born out of the joint project by Studio DEEN Inc. and Surfer’s Paradise Inc. named “i-style Project”.
The image character for voice library exclusive to VOCALOID™3, whose voice was chosen through the-industry’s-first open audition. She was illustrated by a popular illustrator CARNELAN.
Since the theme of “A DEGREE FAHRENHEIT” is “temperature”, this project was named after the “temperature” as well, which is very important concept for this project.
28.4 degree in Fahrenheit is -2 degree in Celsius, which is the boundary temperature when water “transforms” into an ice. An icy message from the concept/image color of Aoki Lapis, blue & white, and another message from her personality, strength found in fragile and vulnerable character matches the transforming temperature, 28.4°F.

●Planning and creating a new presentation style of “show & live” with “music ×fashion”.
●Challenging costume design and production using the leading digital technology such as introducing digital pattering and CG simulation into the production flow.
●Creating and popularizing ”Fashion P”, an virtual character who aspires for a fashion designer.
